JUKASA MOTOR SPEEDWAY SET TO HOST $10,000-T0-WIN “RANKIN CONSTRUCTION 100” FOR THE RACE OF CHAMPIONS ASPHALT MODIFIED SERIES ON SATURDAY, JULY 13

The stage is getting set at one of the finest short track venues in North America for the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series visit on Saturday, July 13, 2019 as Jukasa Motor Speedway in Central Ontario for the “Rankin Construction 100”.

The Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series will compete for $10,000-to-win and $800-to-start in Canadian funds which will make it the second most lucrative paying race during the Series 2019 campaign, second only to the season ending 69th Annual Race of Champions.

The Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series and the International Super Modified Association (ISMA) take center stage at the multi-million dollar facility as a two-division show together.

“Our fans truly enjoyed the show we had last year and we are looking to step it up in 2019,” stated Alex Nagy, General Manager Jukasa Motor Speedway. “We are really looking forward to this event. The feeling is incredible, we are really excited about it and look forward to another great event. This is the type of show our fans really want to see with open wheels and lots of speed.”

In 2018, Patrick Emerling of Orchard Park, N.Y., made a dramatic late race restart move to get around Mike Leaty of Williamson, N.Y., to take home the Series victory. Prior to last season, Modifieds, including the Race of Champions Modified Series have visited Cayuga over the years. The speedway, which Bob Slack opened in 1966, played a major role in short track racing in North America throughout it’s time. The last time the Series visited the legendary George Kent won in July of 2002 before being renamed and remodeled into what is now Jukasa Motor Speedway.

As part of the festivities to go along with the race weekend, Jukasa Motor Speedway will present a concert on Friday, July 12 with the popular Hamilton, Ontario recording artists, “The Chasers” to give fans an entire weekend to enjoy the facility.

Set on over 300 acres the newly named Jukasa Motor Speedway offers the motorsport fan a full range of amenities. There are over 1,100 camp sites with many serviced with hydro and water, refreshment and souvenir booths and free parking to ensure comfort and enjoyment for all who attend the events. An added bonus at some events is the entertainment under the covered band shell pavilion – a popular gathering spot in the evenings. Quality will be the name of the game at Jukasa Motor Speedway, and for the fans, competitors, media and sponsors alike, Jukasa will strive to offer one of the most professional run motorsport facilities in North America.
