RACE OF CHAMPIONS SPORTSMAN MODIFIED AND SUPER STOCKS TO HIGHLIGHT “FANS IN THE STANDS NIGHT” ALONG WITH “ROCKET PERFORMANCE” 602 TRIBUTE TO TROY PRAT

Race of Champions Sportsman Modified and Super Stock Series competitors will headline at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, N.Y., om Friday, August 20 as well the Race of Champions “Rocket Performance” 602 Sportsman will run in honor of longtime Modified racer’s son and Modified enthusiast, Troy Pratt.

Kevin Timmerman of Walworth, N.Y., came close to a victory on opening night in July and he’s looking to turn in another stellar performance on August 20.

“It’s great to be racing again at Spencer,” stated Timmerman. “We were close and some things happened that we just need to put behind us and figure out how to get to victory lane on the 20th. It’s going to be another great night and we’re looking forward to a strong run.”

The Race of Champions “Rocket Performance” 602 Sportsman Modified division will run the Tribute to Troy Pratty. Daryl Lewis Sr., and long-time Modified crewman Curt Tooley will present the event in Pratt’s honor. Pratt played a major role in the Lewis Racing teams. For the event Lewis and Tooley will add $500 that will be split through the field equally to all competitors as well present a trophy to the winner.

There will be a few special giveaways on August 20 as a “Thank You” to the fans who have supported the Speedway during the 2021 season. The giveaways will include a VIP experience on September 3, to the Maynard Troyer Classic II and also tickets to Presque Isle Downs & Casino Race of Champions Weekend at Lake Erie Speedway, September 24, 25 and 26.

The gates for the Tribute to Troy Pratt will swing open for fans at 5:00pm with qualifying at 7:15pm. The Sportsman and Super Stocks, “Rocket Performance” 602 Sportsman will be joined by the Wilbert’s Four Cylinder and Wilbert’s Super Six Division.

Tickets: $15 General Admission; $12 Senior/Military (65-years and older. Military with proper identification); Children 15-10 years of age will be admitted for $10. Four Pack $45 (Two Adults, Two Children). Children under the age of 10 will be admitted Free for this event.
