RACE OF CHAMPIONS MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES UP-TO-THE-MINUTE DIVISION-BY-DIVISION SCHEDULE FOR RACE OF CHAMPIONS “FAMILY OF SERIES”
Race of Champions management has released its “Up-to-the-Minute” schedule, detailing division-by-division plans for the entire Race of Champions “Family of Series” for the upcoming 2026 season.
Robust schedules for both the Race of Champions Modified and Sportsman Modified Series headline the announcement.
The Modified Series schedule features several traditional dates, including a return to Shangri-La II Speedway near Owego, NY, along with additional appearances at Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton, PA. The Series will also return for a third consecutive season to Lee and Peggy Gill’s Evans Mills Raceway Park.
The Sportsman Modified Series expands its footprint in 2026 with added dates at Holland (NY) Speedway and will make its inaugural visit to Shangri-La II Speedway.
The FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series, the TruCaliber Feirme LTD Late Model Series, and the Super Stock Series will also make their first appearances at Shangri-La II Speedway during the 2026 campaign.
The Race of Champions Street Stock Series will follow a schedule similar to 2025, with the addition of a Friday, May 22 event at Spencer Speedway, offering competitors an opportunity to compete at the half-mile Williamson, NY facility.
Both the Race of Champions 602 Asphalt Sportsman Modified Series and the Dirt 602 Sportsman Modified Series will once again compete under the “Family of Series” banner in 2026.
Race of Champions management will continue its lease of Spencer Speedway and host six events at the half-mile speedway near Rochester, NY. The Wilbert’s U-Pull It Four Cylinder division will return for five of those events. Meanwhile, the Wilbert’s U-Pull It Super Six division will be phased out, making way for one of short track racing’s fastest-growing divisions — the Race of Champions Crown Vic Series.
The Crown Vic division will mirror the rules utilized at Evans Mills Raceway Park and will compete at Spencer Speedway on five nights during the 2026 season. A detailed release outlining those changes will be issued in the near future.
“Our off-season has been busy in many different ways,” said Joe Skotnicki of Race of Champions. “There are changes we needed to make and things we evaluated carefully as we continue moving the Series forward. We are always striving to leave a positive impact on racing in our region. 2026 is no different, and we are looking forward to what’s ahead.”
The scheduled released here is tentative and dates may be added in the future. Additional details and complete division schedules are available through Race of Champions media outlets.
